In the end of February 2024 we received an online quote request. Katherine wanted to move her 2-bedroom unit from Matraville into a 2-Bedroom unit at Waterloo.

Katherine wasn’t sure about the size of vehicle she would need, as her apartment had quite more furniture and personal belongings than the average 2-bedroom apartment.
We recommended to go with the 20 cubic m3 truck option, Two men and if we need more space we will organize the big van for a flat fee of $250. Also Katherine requested 10 boxes to pack her personal belongings which are absolutely free of charge.

When we arrived at Matraville apartment we were impressed how organized Katherine was. Everything was prepared, beds were disassembled, boxes were packed and labeled (except ours 🙂), her car was parked next to the door entrance in order to save a parking spot for the truck. Both apartments had lift access so most of the staff were pushed on dollies, much easier much faster. As Katherine mentioned about the excess amount of furniture she had, we brought a big van for the rest of the items.
We started at 10am and finished at 2.30pm. As we don’t charge any call out fees, travel time, we don’t have a minimum hours, we don’t charge for using boxes, the final cost was $925 (all the prices GST included):
4,5 hours @ $150 per hour plus a fee of $250 for an extra vehicle.
