Upon arrival at the place, it turned out that not all things were packed in boxes and our employees had to spend 30 minutes to sort things (clothes and small household appliances) according to the available packages / boxes.
The townhouse had two floors and the staircase between them has a very narrow passage (about 1 m wide), which complicated the task of transferring a double bed to a truck. A balcony was used for this task. Our employees tied up furniture and a mattress on the straps and lowered them down, where they were received by a third employee. This also slightly increased the execution time by 30 minutes.
The refrigerator was located on the ground floor, but due to the fact that it did not pass through the doorways, it was necessary to unscrew the doors from the refrigerator, which also took additional time – 15 minutes.
As a result, it took 2.5 hours to load all the things. The journey time to the new house is 50 minutes.
In the new house, it was not necessary to lift things to the second floor, everything was located on the ground floor and in the garage. Unloading time is 1.5 hours.
Counting all the hours: 2,5+0,5+1,5 = 4,5 hours * 220 $/h
